WELCOME The Italian Local Agenda 21 Association is a no-profit association set up in 1999 to spread Local Agenda 21 and promote sustainable development models.
All the Italian Municipalities, Provinces, Regions and other Local Authorities and all the protected areas management authorities that have promoted, adopted, realized or intending to adopt a LA21 Action Plan in the short term may become members of the association.
To become members of the Italian LA21 Association, Local Authorities must have signed the Aalborg Charter and the Ferrara Charter.
Associations, agencies, companies and also individuals committed or intending to commit themselves to reach the social aims may legitimately participate in the association life and activities.
MEDITERRANEAN STRATEGY FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT The Italian Local Agenda 21 Association is member of the Mediterranean Commission for Sustainable Development UNEP/MAP.
